Early in October 2018, the Indo-German Symposium, organized by the Department of Chemical Engineering IITD, was held on “Advanced Measurements and Multiscale CFD Simulations for Intensification of Multiphase Flow Processes”. During this event 28 talks were given by researchers from FAU and IITD, as well as by scientists from other parts of India, such as Mumbai, Pune, Kharagpur, and Gurgaon. Apart from academia, engineers that work on the application of multiphase flow processes and computational models for multiscale simulations in the industry also participated to discuss their research and development. Just as last September in Nürnberg, both, academia and industry have been brought together in Delhi as well, to further strengthen the ties between theory and practice.

Some of the presentations are available online.
